OPPO further strengthens its influence as a leading selfie smartphone manufacturer. After early last month released the F3 Plus series targeting the premium segment, the Chinese brand released OPPO A57 for the middle-class segment. This device is the successor to the previous series “Unstoppable Selfie”, A39, which has been circulating in the year 2016 ago.
OPPO A57 comes with a 16-megapixel selfie camera that carries the Beautify 4.0 feature. This feature will produce selfie photos that are more detailed, bright and natural. Alinna Wen, Brand Manager of OPPO Indonesia said the device is presented to consumers who are active in social media and many use selfie features.
The main camera OPPO A57 carrying sensor SONY IMX258 with 13-megapixel size equipped with PDAF feature for quick focus search. This sensor brings a large cross section of 1 / 3.06 inches with 5P lens and a large diaphragm F / 2.2.
As a series of the unstoppable selfie, this smartphone is also equipped with a large internal to accommodate the selfie photos. The large 32GB internal storage can be expanded up to 128GB, large enough to hold the images and video.
For performance, OPPO strengthens OPPO A57 with octa-core processor 64 Bit Snapdragon 435. The runway kitchen is equipped with 3GB RAM to support multitasking activity. Meanwhile, from the software, A57 using ColorOS 3.0 based Android Marshmallow 6.0.
To support a variety of user activities, OPPO A57 has a battery of 2900 mAh. Theoretically, it gives 11 hours to watch the video continuously or 23 hours for a continuous call. Broadly speaking A57 has a durability of 13.5 hours if used normally.
The A57 is also accompanied by advanced fingerprint sensors to enhance security as used on F3 Plus devices. To open the device simply wipe the fingerprint in front of the fingerprint reader.
This device became available on April 26, 2017, across the OPPO Store and a network of stores selling Cameraphone OPPO devices. The official price for this device is IDR 3,199 million.
