Bringing camera and other advantages, the price of the OPPO Reno8 Series has gone down, some has gone up. Each series has its own charm.
OPPO Indonesia presents four different series, more than the previous generation. The product range is OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G, Reno8 5G, Reno8 Z 5G, and Reno8 4G. The naming is also sequential from the highest class, to the most affordable variant. However, there is something Gizmo friends need to know.
At this initial launch, not all variants were released simultaneously. Only the prices for the 5G and 4G versions of the OPPO Reno8 Series can be known or purchased by consumers. Meanwhile, the Reno8 Pro 5G & Reno8 Z 5G versions will follow in September.
Four products, starting from IDR4,9 Million
Of the four variants introduced, currently consumers can only get the price of the OPPO Reno8 5G and Reno8 4G. Each is priced at IDR 7,999 million and IDR 4,999 million. One variant is more expensive, and the other variant is cheaper when compared to the previous generation. Both can be obtained through a pre-order program which is open from August 15-25, 2022.
There are benefits worth a total of IDR 2,499 million—consisting of payment discounts of up to IDR 1.9 million through the OPPO Store offline store, as well as other accessory bonuses. For the purchase of OPPO Reno8 5G, immediately get a free OPPO Band. While purchasing the OPPO Reno8 4G, consumers will get the Reno8 Soundblokz aka Bluetooth speaker.
Most interestingly, the price of the 4G version of the OPPO Reno8 Series dropped by around Rp. 200 thousand compared to the old Reno7 4G alias. In fact, the specifications on paper, more or less the same as an increase in color options and the operating system that is run. Already using the latest ColorOS 12.1 which is richer in security features, in addition to deep customization for its consumers.
OPPO Reno8 Series 5G Prices Slightly Rise
Then what about the price of the OPPO Reno8 Series 5G which is IDR 500 thousand more expensive than the previous generation? Naturally, because there are quite a lot of hardware improvements brought. The design has changed a lot too—while the Reno7 5G is more like the Reno4 to Reno6, the Reno8 5G is made entirely new with a rear camera module that has an integrated notch.
In terms of chipset, it is more powerful with the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 which carries 6nm fabrication. The charging technology is also made equivalent to the OPPO Find X5 Pro, which supports 80W SuperVOOC which can be fully charged in less than 30 minutes.
Likewise with the camera sensor, bringing Sony’s flagship dual sensor setup. The main sensor on the back uses a 50MP Sony IMX766, while on the front it uses a Sony IMX709 which can capture much more light details thanks to the RGBW system.
