In total, there are five ASUS gaming laptop lines updated with AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors. Starting from ROG Zephyrus Duo 16, ROG Zephyrus G14, ROG Flow X13 which is more portable, ROG Strix SCAR 17, and a more affordable option, namely TUF Gaming A15.
Superior to Modern Fabrication for the Balance of Performance & Power Efficiency
The five new ASUS gaming laptop lines this time come with AMD Ryzen 7045, 7040 & 7035 processors, built on the Zen 4 architecture with 5nm and 4nm fabrication. With modern fabrication, fast performance can be delivered with optimal battery life, providing extra comfort for consumers who have high mobility.
The latest AMD Ryzen 7000 Series comes in a configuration of up to 16 cores and 32 threads, equipped with AMD Infinity Fabric which can improve communication between CPU cores for a more instant response. The Simultaneous Multi-Threading feature aka SMT also allows each core to execute more than one thread at a time.
To increase CPU performance, the AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processor also supports the latest DDR5 RAM types, as well as PCIe Gen 4 & 5 SSD storage. This enables vendors such as ASUS to present gaming laptop products with high speed and extra spacious memory capacity.
Available on the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 Dual Screen Laptop
Of the five types of ASUS ROG laptops that were introduced, the Zephyrus & Flow series certainly comes as a more premium option. All three of them have the ROG Nebula Display, a new standard for screens that are richer in color, fast and responsive. Including the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 (GX650P), a dual-screen laptop which is claimed to be the most powerful in the world. Paired with NVIDIA RTX 4090 GPU.
Zephyrus Duo 16 is available in the ROG Nebula HDR MiniLED screen option, has a resolution of up to QHD with a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz. This screen can provide a maximum brightness of 1100 nits, as well as the 100% DCI-P3 standard. The secondary screen called ROG ScreenPad Plus is now also enhanced with an anti-reflective glass surface that keeps it looking sharp in various lighting conditions.
For a more portable and personal option, the ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA402N/X) is available with a distinctive cover appearance. The AniMe Matrix feature allows users to customize the appearance of the laptop cover, consisting of 1,449 Mini LEDs that can be adjusted. It also has standard ROG Nebula Display, and is available up to NVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU.
Apart from the Zephyrus series, the ROG Flow X13 (GV302X) series is also available in options up to AMD Ryzen 9 7940HX. This laptop comes as the most powerful 13-inch convertible gaming laptop at the moment, with a graphics chip up to NVIDIA RTX 4070. If that’s lacking, there’s a connection to the ROG XG Mobile External GPU, for increased performance on par with mobile workstations.

The best choice right now for people who care about gaming speed more than screen size or portability is the ROG Strix Scar 17 (G733P).Even without the ROG Nebula standard, the 17-inch screen on this laptop already supports the 100% DCI-P3 color standard via a QHD 240Hz IPS-level panel.
