After officially integrating IndiHome services on July 1 ago, Telkomsel continued the implementation of the Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) initiative. The cellular operator owned by Telkom and Singtel launched a new product, Telkomsel One.
For some reason, the name actually reminds us of a competitor’s similar service, XL Satu. The only difference is Indonesian and English.
Telkomsel’s President Director, Hendri Mulya Syam, states that the company consistently offers digital connectivity services and solutions that go beyond user expectations to support the country’s economic growth.
“The presence of Telkomsel One is a manifestation of our commitment to the continued implementation of fixed and mobile broadband convergence initiative services that will provide a broadband connectivity experience with integrated and seamless services, both inside and outside the home, without being tied to one particular network technology,” said Hendri.
Further explained, Telkomsel One is expected to become one of the leading solutions that will further open up more convenience opportunities for Telkomsel customers to enjoy a reliable distribution of digital connectivity, through the utilization of the convergence of advantages of fixed and mobile broadband services, which are complemented by a variety of advanced digital lifestyle services, including various benefits in the customer loyalty program.
What is Telkomsel One?
Telkomsel One service offers broadband connectivity for both home and mobile use, providing internet access and digital entertainment to all customers.
Telkomsel One also offers broadband services with a variety of added values, and reliable capabilities in one network. This service provides convenience and advantages of Telkomsel Prepaid, Halo, Orbit and IndiHome services in one solution, one application, one touchpoint and one bill.
Apart from introducing Telkomsel One, the company is also strengthening its customer service line through the MyTelkomsel digital application. The new version of MyTelkomsel (7.0.0) is said to be more modern and sleek. It includes a search feature for packages, shows your usage clearly, and has a new loyalty program.lkomsel now has Veronika, a virtual human interaction feature. Veronika is the face of Telkomsel’s customer service and is supported by Azure OpenAI ChatGPT from Microsoft. This feature aims to offer customers a more comfortable and personalized service experience.
Telkomsel One Package Tariff
Telkomsel One provides a wide selection of superior packages that are customer-centric according to customer needs. Prices start at IDR 120,000 for a one-month subscription, including through the Complete Package which includes IndiHome, Orbit and Family Quota services (mobile package). The Dynamic Package includes IndiHome and Family Quota services, and the Easy Package includes Orbit and Family Quota services.
The Telkomsel One package can be enjoyed by people in 501 districts/cities in Indonesia starting July 21, 2023.
Telkomsel One offers a range of additional benefits for customers. These include high-speed IndiHome internet of up to 2 Gbps, data quota of up to 20 GB with Orbit, a shared Family Data Quota of up to 80 GB for six numbers, unlimited calls and SMS within the same group with Closed User Group (CUG) services, IPTV Channels like Cinemax and HBO, a wide selection of digital entertainment services such as Disney+ Hotstar, MAXStream, and Vidio, Voice/SMS over Wi-Fi for communication via Wi-Fi networks, and a seamless internet experience with the first Internet connection feature in Indonesia that ensures uninterrupted connectivity between fiber and cellular networks.
Telkomsel also provides a special free open all channel IPTV service program for all IndiHome customers during the period 21 to 31 July 2023, as well as a program to add higher internet access speeds of up to 100 Mbps without increasing the price of their packages, specifically for selected IndiHome customers.
