ITSEC Asia, an Indonesian publicly listed tech company, has launched IntelliBroń, an integrated cybersecurity system designed for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This is because SMEs generally have limited cybersecurity experts.
The SME sector faces significant challenges when it comes to cybersecurity, including a lack of organizational understanding and awareness of the risks associated with cyberattacks. This makes it challenging for organizations to develop effective cybersecurity systems and projects. Additionally, limited security budgets pose a hurdle in making necessary investments to enhance cybersecurity measures within a constrained budget. Moreover, the complexity of available cybersecurity services further complicates decision-making when it comes to implementing robust cybersecurity solutions.
Joseph Edi Hut Lumban Gaol, President Director of PT ITSEC Asia, announced that the release of IntelliBroń demonstrates the company’s dedication to expanding access to information system security services.
According to him, with more than 400 million cyber anomalies throughout 2023 in Indonesia which are predicted to continue to increase, the urgency of establishing cybersecurity infrastructure in various layers of the industrial sector will become increasingly important. The reason is, this anomaly does not only target large corporations, but also small organizations and individuals.
“Through the Research and Development team from ITSEC Asia, this time we are developing an innovative cybersecurity solution that is designed to be appropriate for things that are essential for business actors, especially for Small-Medium Enterprises (SME / Small and Medium Enterprises),” said Joseph at Jakarta (29/5).
IntelliBroń Solutions AI and ML Adoption
IntelliBroń is a cybersecurity and early warning system device that can detect suspicious cyber anomalies through a monitoring system (dashboard) called Bellatrix, and a Network Threat Detector (Hardware) called Rigel.
The dashboard itself is a feature where an IT employee monitors and analyzes suspicious activity that has been detected, as well as recording the responses that can be made. Meanwhile, the Threat Detector is hardware that is installed in the IntelliBroń user’s network to read, analyze and detect activity passing through the network, either internally or with external parties.
In simple terms, IntelliBroń works by monitoring all cyber activity and traffic data within the company, and sending real-time notifications if suspicious cyber activity is found. This notification can help companies determine mitigation steps that can be taken.
Head of Research & Development PT ITSEC Asia Tbk, Rasyid Sahputra said that the features embedded in IntelliBroń are not only mainstream features, but also the latest features such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning. According to him, this system has adopted various features needed to create a safe cyber ecosystem for companies, such as AI and Machine Learning which can differentiate between system activity and company traffic data and suspicious cyber activity.
Collaboration between ITSEC Asia and XL Axiata Appoints DEFEND IT360 to Market IntelliBroń for SMEs
To market IntelliBroń, ITSEC Asia collaborates with XL Axiata & Hypernet Technologies, appointing DEFEND IT360, as a Strategic Partner. This collaboration is also a strategic step for XL Axiata Business Solutions (XLABS) in an effort to strengthen its portfolio of providing cybersecurity solutions. DEFEND IT360 itself is a company providing cybersecurity solutions which is part of Hypernet which is a subsidiary of XL Axiata.
IntelliBroń is here as an answer to the challenges currently being experienced by industries that utilize digital technology in their business ecosystem, especially for the SME market, which already has awareness of the importance of protecting digital assets. With sufficient important features for a Threat Detection and Response System, IntelliBroń is a very cost-efficient solution.
With AI technology in IntelliBroń, company members who do not have a team specialized in cybersecurity can also know directly about mitigation steps for cyberattacks. The AI technology embedded in IntelliBroń also has an independent learning system because it has been programmed with information related to suspicious cyber activity that can be anticipated. Introducing IntelliBroń: the state-of-the-art cyber surveillance system that, like CCTV, has the capability to seamlessly detect and monitor all cyber activities and traffic within your company network. If irregularities arise based on the existing database, IntelliBroń will immediately send a notification which can help SMEs determine preventative steps.
Joseph Lumban Gaol also emphasized that with the right criteria in terms of price, utility, implementation system, and all the features needed by SMEs, IntelliBroń is presented to be able to answer the cyber security challenges that SMEs have been facing. It is hoped that the presence of IntelliBroń can support the performance of all SMEs in Indonesia so that they can continue to operate with the support of digital infrastructure that is safer from cyber threats. With its features, technology and convenience, IntelliBroń can be a smart partner for companies in dealing with cyber threats.
Meanwhile, Hypernet Technologies CTO, Sudino Oe, added that experience in understanding the cyber security challenges faced by SMEs, from limited resources to growing threats, encouraged him to collaborate with ITSEC Asia in marketing IntelliBroń.
This cybersecurity solution is designed to empower SMBs, protect their digital assets from sophisticated attacks, and provide more room for worry-free innovation and growth. “With access to the best cyber protection, SMEs can focus on business development, increase competitiveness, and contribute more to the Indonesian economy,” he concluded.
