Jakarta, Gizmologi – Samsung wants to continue to strengthen its newest product in Indonesia. After officially presenting flagship smartphones and tablets, as well as their latest mid-range offerings, now it’s the turn of the prices of the Galaxy A13 & Galaxy A23 which have just been revealed.
The Samsung Galaxy A13 & Galaxy A23 are offered for the entry-level segment with a price tag starting from IDR 2 million. Both are updated in terms of design compared to the previous generation, plus a number of hardware improvements. Shown in bright color options that are no less attractive when compared to the two 5G series above, namely the Galaxy A33 & A53 5G.
The Samsung Galaxy A23 & Galaxy A13 were first introduced in early March. You could say, the presence of the two is rather quiet because suddenly Samsung released an infographic table containing the specifications of the two. It only took about three weeks to finally be officially present in the country.
In a release, Ricky Bunardi as MX Product Marketing Senior Manager at Samsung Electronics Indonesia said that the two new Samsung smartphones could maximize content creation. “Galaxy A13 & A23 makes Gen Z not miss the trend or FOMO (fear of missing out) because there are no more missed moments to be the most up-to-date,” he added.
Samsung Galaxy A13 Specifications
Although the price of the Galaxy A13 is priced at IDR 2 million, consumers will still get a device with full features including the camera. In addition to the 8MP camera on the front, there are four complete sensors on the back. In addition to the main sensor which has a high resolution of 50MP, there is also a 5MP ultra-wide-angle.
This is quite interesting because even though the price of the Galaxy A13 is affordable, it still has an ultra-wide sensor which is now starting to be absent, including even Rp. 5 million in smartphones. The front screen itself measures 6.6 inches, using a PLS TFT panel with full HD + high resolution. Available in bright colors including Peach which is a new color option.
The chipset used is the Exynos 850 octa-core, while the 5,000 mAh battery capacity embedded in the Galaxy A13 is supported by 15W fast charging. For the software sector, it is running Android 12 with the One UI Core 4.1 interface. Although affordable, this smartphone is also equipped with the RAM Plus feature which can increase the capacity up to 6GB.
Galaxy A23 Brings 50MP OIS Camera
Have a budget higher than the price of the Galaxy A13? Then the Samsung Galaxy A23 will be a more attractive option. Physically, they both look very identical, including the same color options. It’s just that, Samsung provides a number of improvements in the hardware sector. And the improvement is quite comprehensive, to make content from smartphones more quality.
In terms of screens, both of them use Infinity-V displays. It’s just that the Galaxy A23 screen can show smoother movements thanks to the 90Hz refresh rate support. The high refresh rate is also offset by the performance of a more power-efficient processor, namely the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. Paired with a 5,000 mAh battery, of course, it will last all day.
The charging process will also run faster through 25W fast charging support. While in the camera sector, the main sensor has been supported by OIS, for more stable photos and videos free of shock. And for users who always use e-money cards, can take advantage of the NFC sensor to do the top-up process directly from the Galaxy A23.
