Currently, millennials generation has considerable challenges in the world of work, given the highly competitive competition. This is what underlies Telkomsel to hold the IndonesiaNEXT program which is currently entering the second year.
IndonesiaNEXT is a certification program aimed at increasing capacity and preparing students’ skills in the face of more competitive global competition. This year, Telkomsel will hold roadshow to six cities, namely Medan, Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Makassar.
The IndonesiaNEXT 2017 Roadshow will be filled with a series of seminars that will inspire students, competency training and close with national and international certification examination programs.
“Certification is one of their capital when entering the workforce.With the development of skills and knowledge, we hope this can improve the competitiveness of students, even to the global level,” said Vice President Corporate Communications Telkomsel, Adita Irawati,
Adita further explained that participants who pass the certification exam on the NEXT Indonesia program will get a certificate of expertise that can be used by the students as Certificate of Certificate Supervisor (SKPI).
In the final stages of the program, 30 best national participants will be selected to attend an internship program in Telkomsel. In addition, the five best participants will get a short course in one of the leading companies abroad.
In Indonesia NEXT, participants who are students from various departments and tertiary education levels will participate in inspirational seminars that present speakers from business practitioners who have been successful in their fields such as: Handry Satriago (CEO of General Electric Indonesia), Sakti Makki (Co-Founder Makki Makki), Harry Nugraha (Country Manager of Intel Indonesia), Aulia E. Marinto (CEO of Blanja.com), and others.
Meanwhile, in the training session for certification, the participants of IndonesiaNEXT 2017 will get training that hones their skills in using the software, as well as the ability to communicate. The 3-day training will introduce students to the latest skills and knowledge related to various fields, such as management, economics, information technology, computer systems, and multimedia.
For information, in 2016 no less than 3,800 participants from 344 public and private campuses throughout Indonesia have attended certification programs supported by these trusted certification bodies, both nationally and internationally.
